The Foreign Logistics & Strategy Insights Group (FLSIG) is a small, independent working group of practitioners and researchers focused on the operational and strategic questions facing mid-market exporters in 2026.

What we publish

FLSIG publishes structured analysis and primers covering: foreign market entry frameworks, trade compliance regimes, customs and bill-of-lading data as a research input, HS-code intelligence, and country-of-origin rules. Our pieces are written for operating teams, not for a general business-press audience.

How we work

We publish irregularly, on the cadence at which our contributors finish a piece worth publishing. We do not run a newsletter, do not sell research subscriptions, and do not take commercial sponsorship. Where we cite a data source, we name it; where we cite a regulatory regime, we link to the primary text.

Editorial posture

FLSIG analysis is descriptive and structural rather than prescriptive. We map what the field looks like, what the working frameworks are, and where they tend to break. We do not make vendor recommendations.

For questions about a specific piece or to suggest a topic, the contact path is via the editor of the piece in question — most pieces carry an editor identifier in the document metadata.
